Padel, partnerships, and fundraising for the Alzheimer’s Society

On Friday 18 September, the inaugural Pro Steel Padel Cup was held at the Welsh Padel Centre in Cwmbran. Organised by Pontypool-based steel specialist Pro Steel Engineering, the event brought together friends of the company, industry contacts, and some new faces for a brilliant afternoon both on and off the courts.

After some competitive matches and plenty of great rallies, Sergio Alarcon (Ceryn Engineering) and Neil Smith (Pro Steel Engineering) emerged as worthy champions, taking home the trophy and earning the title of the first-ever Pro Steel Padel Cup winners.

Richard Selby, Managing Director, Pro Steel Engineering said: “While there could only be one winning pair, the real success of the day was the atmosphere. It was a fantastic opportunity to catch up with long-standing connections, make new ones, and enjoy some friendly competition in great company.

“We’re also delighted to have raised more than £450 for the Alzheimer’s Society, helping to support the vital work they do for people living with dementia and their families, a charity very close to the hearts of us here at Pro Steel.”
